August/September Calendar of Events
Eagle, Colorado (elevation 6,600 ft) offers a wide variety of recreational activities for people of ALL ages!
Located on scenic Brush Creek Road, the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink (EPIR) is a hot spot year-round. During the summer months we offer a full size outdoor leisure aquatic center, tennis courts and outdoor bike park. The Aquatics area features a zero-depth play area with "Willy the Frog slide" for small children, a vortex pool, umbrella spray feature, 6 lane lap pool, 150 ft water slide and diving board. During the Fall/Winter months we have an indoor NHL size Ice Rink. There is always something exciting to do!
This summer we have numerous special events planned. These events include: Our Annual Dive In Pool Party with games lead by our Rec Kids Camp Counselors; KIds "Day" Out Swim Parties; Family Nights, Flea Markets, a youth triathlon and of course our very popular Puppy Plunge at the end of the season!
We are proud to offer another full season of Learn to Swim Lessons. Lessons are offered weekday mornings and also on Saturday mornings. If you have not had your child in our swim programs, now is the time to get them registered. It is such an important life skill and our instructors are here to provide a comprehensive lesson, while making sure the kids are having fun.
In addition to our swimming lessons, we offer swim team for youth and adults. The Aqua Eagles participate in local swim meets, while working on enhancing stroke development and endurance. The team is coached by collegiate swimmers and will be sure to challenge you and your children.
