Eagle, Colorado (elevation 6,600 ft) offers a wide variety of recreational activities for people of ALL ages!

Located on scenic Brush Creek Road, the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink (EPIR) is a hot spot year-round. During the summer months we offer a full size outdoor leisure aquatic center, tennis courts and outdoor bike park. The Aquatics area features a zero-depth play area with "Willy the frog slide" for small children, a vortex pool, umbrella spray feature, 6 lane lap pool, 150 ft water slide and diving board. During the Fall/Winter months we have an indoor NHL size Ice Rink. There is always something exciting to do!

This winter we have numerous special events planned. These events include: The Annual Winter Extravaganza with special visits from Santa Claus; 1^st Annual Best of the West Men’s Hockey Tournament; Stick or Treat Women’s Hockey Tournament; Youth Ice Skating and Hockey “Lock In”; a skating Celebration for National Skating Month, and Special Kidz Night Out Skate Parties on select Friday nights.

We are proud to offer another full season of Learn to Skate Lessons. We offer the US Figure Skating basic skills program to children and adults of all ages. Lessons are on Thursday afternoons throughout the entire fall/winter season. We also have added a NEW beginner’s ONLY skating clinic. “It is never too late to learn to skate!”

In addition to our skating lessons, we offer recreational hockey programs for children and adults. Our Mini-Mite program begins at age 5 and welcomes children who have never played before. Early in the season we will host a learn to play hockey Clinic for kids ages 5-8 years old. This clinic includes equipment rental so you can “try” before you “buy” all the necessary gear.

We also have approximately 90 women playing in our Mountain Women’s Hockey League. That league also welcomes adult women who have never played before, beginning the season in October with a training clinic. It is a great way for women to take a break from the challenges of life and have some fun on the ice.

Besides the Eagle Pool & Ice Rink Facility, WECMRD also manages and maintains the Eagle Fairgrounds Ballfield Complex located off I-70 in Eagle. We offer numerous sports programs at this facility including: youth & adult softball, baseball, football, soccer and lacrosse. The fields are available for rent.
