About WECMRD

Established in 1980, WECMRD has continually strived to provide the communities of western Eagle County with a wide variety of quality, affordable recreational activities and facilities for youth and adults. The district’s boundaries encompass and estimated area of 840 square miles in Eagle County, Colorado including the communities of Eagle, Edwards, Gypsum, Bond, McCoy, Cordillera, Lake Creek and Wolcott.

Board of Directors
An elected five-member board governs the District. The WECMRD Board of Directors includes a chairman and four directors, who serve four-year terms. Board Meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm (odd months - Jan., March, May, July, Sept., Nov.) at the WECMRD Field House, 0450 Miller Ranch Road, Edwards, CO 81632 and (even months - Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct., Dec.) at the Gypsum Recreation Center, 0052 Lundgren Blvd., Gypsum, CO 81637.
